شب یک شب دو-بهمن فرسی

رمان «شب یک، شب دو» نوشته‌ی بهمن فرسی، داستانی روان‌کاوانه، تلخ و انتقادی درباره‌ی مردی تحصیل‌کرده به نام زاوش ایزدان است که با خواندن مجموعه‌ای از نامه‌های عاشقانه‌ی دختری به نام بی‌بی، به بازخوانی زندگی، روابط و شکست‌های درونی خود می‌پردازد. روایت در فضایی مالیخولیایی، پر از دلهره، عشق‌های جسم‌محور، عصیان اخلاقی و تنفر از ریاکاری روشنفکرانه شکل می‌گیرد. زاوش، سرخورده از جامعه، هنر، عشق و حتی خودش، نامه‌ها را مرور می‌کند، با تغییر ضمیر آن‌ها را برای خود می‌خواند، سپس می‌سوزاند؛ نامه‌هایی که طی ۷ سال نوشته شده‌اند. «بی‌بی» زنی ثروتمند و وابسته به مد و ظاهر است که با «ژیار» ازدواج کرده و با زاوش نیز رابطه‌ای مبهم و فیزیکی دارد. این رمان با زبانی تند، شاعرانه و گاه بریده‌بریده، تصویری انتقادی و تاریک از روابط انسانی، عشق، هنر، و فروپاشی اخلاق در جامعه روشنفکری ارائه می‌دهد.

“Shab-e Yek, Shab-e Do” (Night One, Night Two) by Bahman Forsi is a dark, introspective novel centered on Zavosh Izadan, a modern, educated man who, while reading a series of love letters from a woman named Bibi, begins to revisit the fragments of his own life, relationships, and emotional collapse. Through these letters—written over seven years—Zavosh reconstructs memories, changes their subjects, internalizes them, and then burns them. The story unfolds in a hallucinatory and morally rebellious atmosphere, reflecting his anger and disillusionment with the hypocrisy of so-called artistic elites. Bibi, a wealthy fashion designer living abroad, is entangled with both her husband Zhiar and Zavosh, providing him even with companionship on her travels. Forsi’s poetic yet fragmented prose paints a powerful, critical portrait of bodily love, emotional ruin, and the decay of values in the world of modern Iranian intellectuals.
