«مخزنالاسرار» نخستین منظومه از خمسه یا پنجگنجِ نظامی گنجوی (Nizami Ganjavi) و اثری تألیفی به زبان فارسی است؛ بنابراین مترجم ندارد. این مثنوی تعلیمی که سرایش آن به حدود سال ۱۱۷۴ میلادی نسبت داده میشود، با عنوان انگلیسی The Treasury of Mysteries نیز شناخته میشود.
اثر از حدود ۲۲۶۰ بیت و بیست گفتار اخلاقی و حکمی تشکیل شده است. نظامی در هر گفتار موضوعی مانند عدالت، خودشناسی، شناخت خداوند، دانش، وارستگی، سخنسنجی یا مسئولیت فرمانروایان را طرح میکند و سپس با حکایتی کوتاه آن اندیشه را به تصویری ماندگار تبدیل میکند.
برخلاف منظومههای عاشقانه و داستانی بعدی نظامی، حرکت اصلی این کتاب میان اندیشه و حکایت تمثیلی است. نسخهٔ انتشارات قطره ۲۴۰ صفحه، جلد سخت و قطع وزیری دارد و با شابک 9789645958389 ثبت شده است.

About Makhzan al-Asrar
Makhzan al-Asrar (The Treasury of Mysteries) is the first poem in the Khamsa, or Panj Ganj, of Nizami Ganjavi. It is an original Persian work and has no translator. This didactic masnavi is generally dated to about 1174.
The work contains approximately 2,260 couplets arranged around twenty ethical and philosophical discourses. In each discourse Nizami considers a subject such as justice, self-knowledge, knowledge of God, learning, detachment, responsible speech or the duties of rulers, then gives it memorable form through a brief illustrative tale.
Unlike Nizami’s later romantic and narrative poems, the book moves principally between reflection and moral exemplum. This Ghatreh edition is a 240-page, vaziri-format hardcover registered under ISBN 9789645958389.
