«مجمعالجزایر گولاک» اثر الکساندر سولژنیتسین (Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn) با ترجمهٔ عبدالله توکل (Abdullah Tavakkol)، روایتی مستند و ادبی از شبکهٔ زندانها و اردوگاههای کار اجباری اتحاد شوروی است. این محصول همان مجموعهٔ سهجلدی چاپ سروش است که تصویر نسخهٔ موجود نام مترجم، نشان ناشر و عبارت «چاپ سوم» را روی جلد نشان میدهد؛ بنابراین مشخصات آن با ترجمهٔ جدید نشر مرکز مخلوط نشده است.
سولژنیتسین تجربهٔ زندان و تبعید خود را با خاطرات و شهادتهای زندانیان دیگر، اسناد و تحلیل سازوکار سرکوب پیوند میدهد. کتاب از بازداشت و بازجویی تا انتقال، کار اجباری، زندگی روزمرهٔ اردوگاه و مقاومت زندانیان را دنبال میکند و مرز میان خاطره، تاریخ و تحقیق ادبی را عمداً درهم میشکند.
این اثر داستان تخیلی نیست؛ پژوهشی روایی دربارهٔ نظام گولاگ و پیامدهای انسانی حکومت تمامیتخواه است. چون شابک و مجموع صفحات قابل اتکایی برای همین چاپ سهجلدی سروش پیدا نشد، بهجای انتقال مشخصات چاپی دیگر، این دو عدد در جدول درج نشدهاند.

About The Gulag Archipelago: Three-Volume Persian Set
The Gulag Archipelago by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, translated into Persian by Abdullah Tavakkol, is a documentary and literary account of the Soviet prison and forced-labour camp system. This product is the three-volume Soroush edition shown in AlefBa’s photograph, where the translator, publisher mark and “third printing” are visible; its details are therefore not mixed with the newer Nashr-e Markaz translation.
Solzhenitsyn combines his own imprisonment and exile with other prisoners’ testimony, documentary evidence and analysis of the machinery of repression. He follows the system from arrest and interrogation through transport, forced labour, daily camp life and resistance, deliberately crossing the boundaries between memoir, history and literary investigation.
This is narrative non-fiction rather than a novel. Because no reliable ISBN or total page count was found for this exact three-volume Soroush printing, neither has been borrowed from a different edition.
