Raise High the Roof Beam, Carpenters and Seymour: An Introduction است.

About Raise High the Roof Beam, Carpenters and Seymour: An Introduction
Raise High the Roof Beam, Carpenters and Seymour: An Introduction by J. D. Salinger is translated into Persian by Shirin Taavoni (Khaleghi). The book contains two connected novellas about the Glass family.
The first begins on Seymour and Muriel’s wedding day, when the groom fails to appear and Buddy Glass reconstructs his brother through absence, family memories and the reactions of the guests. In “Seymour: An Introduction,” Buddy attempts to write about the brother whose death overshadows the whole family, moving through recollection, hesitation and direct address.
Salinger combines understated humour, exact dialogue and close attention to inner life, turning Buddy’s grief and admiration into a question about whether another person can ever be fully captured in words. This Niloufar edition carries ISBN 9789644481734.
