«شرح و ترجمه فصوصالحکم» نسخهای فارسی از اثر مشهور محییالدین ابنعربی (Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi) در عرفان نظری است. ساختار کتاب بر بیستوهفت «فص» استوار است و هر فصل با نام یک پیامبر، وجهی از حکمت و نسبت میان حق، عالم و انسان را بررسی میکند. از همین رو متن هم در تاریخ تصوف و هم در بحثهای مربوط به وحدت وجود و انسان کامل جایگاهی محوری یافته است.
این چاپ بر اساس متن تصحیحشده ابوالعلاء عفیفی (Abu al-Ala Afifi) و ترجمه انگلیسی رالف آستین (Ralph W. J. Austin) فراهم شده است. حسین مریدی (Hossein Moridi) متن و پینوشتها را به فارسی برگردانده و توضیحاتی برای اصطلاحها و عبارتهای دشوار افزوده است؛ بنابراین نقش عفیفی، آستین و مریدی در این نسخه با نقش مؤلف اصلی یکسان نیست و جداگانه ثبت شده است.

About Fusus al-Hikam: Commentary and Translation
This Persian edition presents the celebrated work of theoretical mysticism by Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi. The text is organised into twenty-seven chapters, each associated with a prophet and a particular aspect of wisdom, and examines the relationships among the Divine Reality, the cosmos and the human being. It has consequently become central to the study of Sufism, the unity of being and the Perfect Human.
The edition draws on the Arabic text edited by Abu al-Ala Afifi and the English translation by Ralph W. J. Austin. Hossein Moridi translated the text and notes into Persian and supplied explanatory material for difficult terms and passages. These editorial and translation roles are therefore recorded separately from that of the original author.
