The Truth-Worshippers of Kurdistan by the Russian scholar Vladimir Alexeyevich Ivanow, translated into Persian by Seyed Kasra Heydari, is a historical and textual study of the Ahl-e Haqq, or Yarsan, tradition.

Working from Persian manuscripts and a collection of texts available to him, Ivanow examines beliefs, terminology, narratives and social organisation. A substantial part of the book presents and edits materials from an Ahl-e Haqq collection alongside excerpts from dervish treatises, allowing readers to encounter both scholarly analysis and primary-source material.

First published in the mid-twentieth century, the work reflects the methods and language of Orientalist scholarship of its time and benefits from being read critically beside newer Yarsan research. Its enduring value lies especially in its record of manuscripts and texts that were otherwise difficult to access.
